Key Responsibilities

The role of the Part-time Sales Assistant involves the following duties and responsibilities to be fulfilled:

• Maintain a positive and secure store environment to minimize losses, following security and handling protocols.
• Operate the cash register accurately, adhering to company policies, and keep the store neat and organized.
• Support a cost-effective and efficient store operation while collaborating with a team of enthusiastic Dynamos.
• Engage with customers by offering friendly service, making suggestions, and informing them about promotions and new products.
• Resolve customer queries and issues promptly and professionally.
• Showcase product knowledge, demonstrate items, and help customers find what they need.
• Welcome customers as they enter, offering assistance and a warm greeting.
• Meet sales targets and stay updated on the latest products and promotions.
• Assist with stock ordering, store setup, and maintaining product displays.
• Receive, organize, and manage stock deliveries effectively.
• Ensure accurate payment processing at the cash register and maintain customer satisfaction throughout their shopping experience.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants will be required to meet the following minimum requirements to be considered for this role:

• Matric Certificate.
• Previous experience in Cashier, Customer Service, Sales, General Worker, General Assistant, Store Assistant, Store Associate, or Retail roles.
• Must live within 10 km of the job location.
• Clear criminal record.

Preferred Qualifications

• South African citizenship.
• Proficiency in English.
• Computer literacy.
