Your duties will include assisting customers in finding products, accurately handling transactions, and maintaining a well-organized store. Duties & Responsibilities

Here’s a list of tasks you’ll be responsible for on workdays:

• Deliver excellent customer service to ensure a pleasant shopping experience.
• Accurately process customer purchases at the checkout.
• Assist customers in selecting products to enhance their shopping and encourage additional purchases.
• Answer phone inquiries and promptly address customer questions or requests.
• Maintain and update customer records accurately.
• Ensure shelves are well-stocked, organized, and easy to navigate.
• Restock products as shelves empty and ensure continuous availability.
• Display prices correctly and create attractive product displays throughout the store.
• Assist with receiving and organizing deliveries using specific tools and software.
• Keep the store clean and tidy at all times.
• Prepare the store for the next day’s operations.
• Support the manager in preparing for stock checks.
• Maintain store equipment, ensuring it’s safe and in working order.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations.
• Handle cash and card payments efficiently without errors.
• Manage daily banking tasks responsibly.
• Be aware of sales targets and work towards meeting daily, weekly, and monthly goals.
• Contribute to strategies aimed at minimizing stock losses and boosting profitability.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants will be required to meet the following minimum requirements to be considered for this role:

• Grade 12 or Equivalent NQF Level 4.
• Previous experience in Sales, Retail, Customer Service, Cashier, Store Assistant and Store Associate will be an advantage.
• South African Candidates are preferred.
• Must be proficient in English.
