Specific Role Responsibilities

The NCAMA Learnership 2024 involves the following duties and responsibilities to be fulfilled:

• Participate in both institutionalized and on-the-job training in accordance with the learnership qualification and company requirements.
• Ensure that safety, quality, productivity, cost, and delivery goals are met by implementing standardized workplace training.
• Learn to use specific tools and equipment for specialized process tasks.
• Follow workplace procedures and meet timeframes.
• Contribute ideas to improve efficiency in assembly processes.
• Provide support to production operations.
• Maintain clear communication with peers and supervisors.
• Perform tasks with integrity and identify areas for improvement.

Performance Measures/Success Criteria:

• Complete an approved training program as required by FMCSA and MerSeta.
• Adhere to a structured training schedule to achieve competence.
• Successfully complete the learnership within the designated period.
• Work across shifts to gain additional experience during the training period.

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants will be required to meet the following minimum requirements to be considered for this role:

• Grade 12 Certificate with a passing in the following Subjects: Pure Maths (No Maths Literacy) & English.
• Must be unemployed.
• Applicants must be under 35 years of age.
