Job Description

AFGRI is looking for Pickers and Packers to identify and move stock to dispatch according to documentation, assist with stock-taking, and help replenish stock.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants will be required to meet the following minimum requirements to be considered for this role:

• Grade 12 or Equivalent NQF Level 4.
• Basic numeracy skills.
• Basic verbal and written communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

The Picker and Packer position involves the following duties and responsibilities to be fulfilled:

• Accurately pick stock as per picking slips and ensure prompt delivery to dispatch.
• Inform the warehouse manager if stock is not available.
• Assist with loading equipment and parts onto customer vehicles.
• Confirm that packed stock matches the picking slip details.
• Ensure all items are packed according to company standards and procedures.
• Participate in stock-taking activities.
• Help investigate stock discrepancies and replenish inventory.
• Stock parts received from the receiving area.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace following health and safety standards.

Technical Skills/Competencies
