Duties & Responsibilities

The Teacher Assistant role involves the following duties and responsibilities to be fulfilled:

• Fulfill all duties expected of a Classroom Assistant.
• Maintain and support the school’s ethos.
• Prepare students comprehensively for the next grade level.
• Assist in ensuring students are ready for school.
• Conduct ongoing assessments throughout the year to be communicated to parents via meetings and written reports.
• Collaborate effectively as a team to ensure the school’s success.
• Adhere to a structured daily schedule.
• Participate in general school events throughout the year.
• Engage children actively in all learning activities.
• Promote learning through play by supporting an informal teaching approach.
